Player Responsibilities & Compliance

All players must adhere to Cricket Newfoundland & Labrador (CNL) policies, platform requirements, and player movement rules.

CricHeroes & CricClubs Apps Requirement All players are required to download and actively use both the CricHeroes and CricClubs apps

Profile Picture Requirement Each player must upload a proper, clear profile picture on both platforms (CricHero and CricClub)

Follow Official Social Media Pages Players who use social media platforms are encouraged to follow or like Cricket Newfoundland & Labrador’s official pages.

Sharing CNL Social Media Posts Players are encouraged to share any CNL posts that feature or relate to them. If you do not use social media, you may skip this activity.

Player Transfers & Movement Rules To ensure transparency and proper governance, any player wishing to join another club or transfer from their current club must follow the rules outlined below:

A player who intends to move to another club must formally notify their current club and the interested (new) club in writing via email.

Cricket Newfoundland & Labrador (CNL) must be included (CC) in all transfer-related communication.

All communication regarding player movement must be documented in writing.

No player movement may occur without written notice being provided to all involved parties (current club, new club, and CNL).

The player must pay off any outstanding dues to their current club.

Cricket NL will not approve any player transfer if, in the event of a dispute, the player or the interested club fails to provide documented proof of communication.

Non-Compliance Fine If a player fails to notify their club in writing before leaving and CNL receives a formal complaint, a $200 fine may be issued.
