Cricket Newfoundland and Labrador is excited to announce the return of Winter League 2026, set to begin on January 24th, 2026 at the PowerPlex Centre in St. John’s. The league will run from 7 PM to 11 PM every Saturday, bringing another thrilling indoor season of fast-paced cricket action to the province’s cricket community.

🏏 How to Register

Teams can now register by emailing cricketnewfoundland@gmail.com with the following details:

  • Team name

  • Captain’s name and contact number

  • List of players

Spots are limited, so early registration is encouraged.

All matches will be held indoors at the PowerPlex Centre, one of the best-equipped facilities for indoor sports in the region.

⚡ League Format and Schedule

The Winter League 2026 will feature 14 teams, divided into two groups of seven. Each team will play 8-over matches, designed to keep games short, competitive, and exciting.
Each match will last approximately one hour, offering fast-paced entertainment for both players and spectators throughout the season. More details to follow.
